We are a British Gymnastics Accredited club and we operate the award scheme for both Trampoline and Gymnastics.
We have 8 olympic sized trampolines - four floor standing and four in pits. We run classes for all ages and abilities as well as coaching our competition team members and international athletes.
Have fun learning gymnastics with Julie and her team on our 7,300ft² mat, tumble track, rings, asymmetric bars and beams.
Learn to keep moving with grace, speed and dexterity over just about any obstacle with our amazing parkour coaches.
For adults we run a circuit work-out using the trampolines, tyres and weights. It's great fun and you will be very well looked after by our coaches!
Come and give your little ones a gentle introduction to all the fun of trampolining and the gym with our brilliant pre-school coaches. Lots of activities, music and fun.
Our facilities are available for Parties with a bounce! In addition to the party room upstairs you get the use of up to 6 trampolines, gymnastics kit, air track & 7,300ft² of mat space — all with a qualified coach and party leader.
Come up and use our café & viewing gallery while your family members have fun downstairs. A wide range of food and drinks are available.
We operate a free wi-fi access point - just ask for login details upstairs in the café.
Quayside (or QuaysideTGC) is short for "Quayside Trampoline & Gymnastics Club". We are a 'not for profit' organisation offering trampoline, gymnastics, hi-intensity training and parkour to various age groups and abilities.
We operate out of the Luxon Centre — a custom converted warehouse in Bridgwater's East Quay district. We chose this name as a tribute to one of Great Britain's greatest trampoline gymnasts: Paul Luxon.
We are a GymMark and ClubMark accredited club.
The facility is dedicated to Trampolining, Artistic Gymnastics and Parkour. Part of the major works involved building a pit for 4 olympic sized trampolines so they can be accessed from floor level.
The club is run in such a way as to cover costs and all profit from its activities is re-invested into the facilities and the members. It is not taken out as dividend or bonuses.
If you come for the family fun sessions or are part of a parent-involved pre-school class, then yes. Otherwise you can view activities from the upstairs gallery/Café. We do not allow any spectators on the gym floor or any of the walk-ways.
All physically demanding sports have a risk of injury and this is the case for all the activities we provide at the club. However, we take active steps to assess and manage these risks and are constantly seeking to improve our record and provide as physically a safe environment as possible to all participants.
All of our equipment was brought brand new and is serviced regularly. The matting covering the floor and around the equipment meets the required standards laid out be British Gymnastics and we exceed the standards in certain areas.
Our past safety record is impeccable and we endeavor to maintain our high standard at all times.
Our coaches are qualified and/or supervised by qualified coaches at all times. All of our coaches have been checked by the DBS service (previously known as CRB checks) and are required to keep their Safeguarding Children certificates up-to-date.
Please make sure that your child (and/or you if participating) dress appropriately and that jewellery, watches and hair pins are removed before starting. Hair should be tied back so that it doesn't obstruct vision.
You will be informed of any accident your child has at the club.
If the accident is minor you will be informed when you return to collect your child and you will be asked to sign the completed accident report form.
If the accident is serious you will be contacted immediately.
